First 10 Steam Greenlight Games Announced

Valve has announced the first 10 titles that will be sold on Steam as a result of Steam Greenlight. Greenlight allows the community to vote on independent games to be sold through Steam, and Valve has now announced the first ten games that “have earned critical mass and been picked up for worldwide distribution.”

The 10 titles are:

  • Black Mesa
  • Cry of Fear
  • Dream
  • Heroes & Generals
  • Kenshi
  • McPixel
  • No More Room in Hell
  • Project Zomboid
  • Routine
  • Towns

"The Steam community rallied around these titles and made them the clear choice for the first set of titles to launch out of Greenlight," said Valve’s Anna Sweet. "Since launch, hundreds of titles have been submitted, with more coming in every day. We expect to be announcing more titles coming to Steam via Greenlight soon."

Steam Greenlight first launched on August 30th, and Valve recently enacted a policy requiring a $100 fee to submit a game to Greenlight.
